ADMISSION DOCUMENTS

Applications along with the necessary supporting documents are submitted to the Secretariat of the expedited Department either in printed or electronic form. The candidate submits the following supporting documents:

(a) Application form for participation in the I.P.P. (you can download it from here).

(b) Copy of degree or degrees of Greek Universities,  Technological Educational Institutes, Universities or other Tertiary Education or Productive Schools. In case of a graduate from a similar institution abroad, the legal recognition of the degree by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Qualifications and Information (D.O.A.T.A.P.) is submitted.

(c) Certificate of studies with detailed grades of all undergraduate courses, which also indicates the grade of the degree.

(d) Certificate of knowledge of at least one foreign language, as a prerequisite (level B2 and above), in accordance with the rules in force in the public administration. The level of foreign language proficiency is proven by the following ways:
i) State Certificate of Law 2740/1999, as replaced by para. 19 of article 13 of Law 3149/2003
ii) with a degree in Foreign Language and Literature or a Degree in Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting of the country or equivalent and equivalent foreign schools
iii) with a bachelor's, undergraduate or postgraduate diploma or doctoral degree of any recognized higher education institution abroad
iv) with a baccalaureate title equivalent to Greek Secondary Schools, provided that they have been obtained after regular attendance of at least six years in Foreign.

The foreign language teaching license does not prove knowledge of a foreign language (Presidential Decree 347/2003). Candidates holding the relevant licence must provide a certified copy and an accurate translation of the qualification on the basis of which the foreign language teaching licence was issued.

In case of knowledge of a second foreign language, the corresponding certificate is also submitted. For the knowledge of Slavic languages, a certificate from the I.M.X.A. or a diploma of a recognized institution is submitted.

Candidates who do not hold a foreign language certificate have the opportunity to be examined in writing, by a special committee of teachers with corresponding language proficiency, to prove adequate knowledge of the language.

Foreigners submit a certificate of Greek language proficiency from a Modern Greek Language School of a University, as well as a degree in a Western European language, as above. If they are graduates of a Greek-speaking University Department, this degree is equivalent to a certificate of proficiency in the Greek language.

(e) Evidence of possible professional experience relevant to the field of specialization.

(f) Evidence of any research and writing activity relevant to the field of specialization, as well as participation in educational student mobility programs.

(g) Curriculum vitae detailing the candidate's studies, professional experience, scientific and social activity, as well as the reasons why he/she is interested in pursuing the studies of the I.P.P.

(h) Photocopy of identity card or passport.

(i) Solemn declaration completed with the required information and validated electronically through gov.gr service (see here)
